Hop in line!

Bandize is currently invite-only. We're not even beta yet, so we want to make sure all the kinks are worked out before attempting to accommodate all of you. We generally send out invites once a week, so be sure to leave your email address if you want one!

What's your email address?

Every industry needs a tool that helps keep people organized, efficient, focused, and ready for what’s next. Bandize is that tool for the music industry.

All too often, the way bands keep track of all their information is scattered, duplicative, and oftentimes overwhelming. How many times have you scribbled contacts in a notebook, or tried to keep track of finances in Excel (yeah right!), or keep track of tour details in your head? How’s that workin’ out?

Bandize is a common place, a place that’s accessible from anywhere, one that all band members can view and contribute to, one that’s already set up for you the way bands need it to be. It’s true organization for bands.

Shows/Tours

Manage every date in your tour
Booking a one, five, or sixty day tour? Manage everything from one easy to use place. Our tour and show booking section offers an incredibly intuitive and easy to maintain suite of tools that will make booking your tour easier than you can imagine.
How much money did we make?
Enter your nightly merch sales and door payment information. Bandize associates this information with the specific show so that you can track how well you do in each city and/or venue. Also, at the end of each tour, you'll easily be able to see how much money you made (or lost) throughout the entire tour with graphs, charts, etc.
Who's involved with this show?
"Wait, have I already contacted this person? If I did, what did they say? I have no idea." Keeping everything in order while booking your own tour and/or shows can be difficult. With Bandize, you're able to log every single communication you've had with someone. Email Joey in San Antonio about booking a show for you? Call Sarah in Cleveland wondering if she's been able to find a venue for you to play? Too stressed to even remember who Joey or Sarah are? That's probably more like it and Bandize will completely alleviate that issue by letting you log past conversations, remember when you spoke to them, what dates they're supposed to be working on for you, and so much more.
Where are you staying?
We've all slept in the van at the last minute when we couldn't find somewhere else to stay, but with Bandize, you'll be able to plan things a lot easier by arranging accommodations well in advance of your tour. Matter of fact, each tour date is associated with it's very own accommodation information, so you can be planning where you're playing and where you're staying!
Mapping
Bandize provides you with turn-by-turn directions provided on your daily Tour Book page that tell you how to get from Venue A to Accommodation A and then to Accommodation A to Venue B the following day and so on and so on.

Accounting

Where's the money going?
Bandize is your digital ledger. Spend $60 on gas with the band fund? Log it. Did you pay for this week's practice personally and need to be reimbursed? Log it and Bandize will show everyone that you're owed money and why!
Tags!
Bandize uses tags to allow for easy filtering and navigation between different types of transactions. We auto-apply certain tags such as "Paycheck" and "Sales", but we also allow you to enter your very own tags for some customization (ie. "Booze", "Fireworks").
How much are you owed?
Don't let that $5 the band loaned Gary for a beer get lost in the mental I.O.U. filing-cabinet. Bandize creates a very real sense of accountability so that money doesn't just go "missing."
Who's been paid what?
It may not happen as often as you'd like (though, Bandize hopes to change that for you), when you get paid, you should be able to track the what, when, and why so that you can figure out how to make it happen over and over again. We help you track things such as payments from venues, money spent manufacturing merchandise, and basically anything else your accounting needs present.

Social network syncing

All the best
Myspace, PureVolume, Last.fm, Eventful, and more!
Stop posting and posting and posting
The data is all in one place, so push it out to the world with a single click right from your Bandize account! You've already spent time building your tours in Bandize, so why should you have to re-enter all of the information on your different social-networking accounts? Now you don't have to.

Product management

What's your inventory?
"I know we had another XL in here somewhere." Sound familiar? With Bandize, you will be able track exactly what merchandise you have. No more sifting through boxes in a dimly-lit club.
Know when stock is running low!
Generally speaking, you can't sell something that you don't have in stock. If you're embarking on a 60-day tour, chances are you're going to run out of something. Bandize allows you to create custom "Low Stock" and "Out of Stock" alerts that will let you know when it's time to order more!
How much have you made?
Know exactly how much each item you sell is making and/or costing you. Does one particular shirt design sell better in Austin than it does in New York City? If you've tracked your sales from previous tours and/or online sales, Bandize will keep a log and let you know!

Contact management

Everyone you've ever talked to!
With Bandize, you have easy access to every single contact you've ever made right at your fingertips. Not only can you manage specific contacts, but you can group them into specific categories such as venues, manufacturing, record labels, etc.
Privacy
Because you are able to manage several different bands under the same account, we give you the ability to restrict access to certain information. For example, if you play in two bands and don't want to share contacts from Band A with Band B because they're unrelated, Bandize gives you the ability to make specific contacts unavailable to Band B.
Keep track of communication
When and who last spoke to Mike about the show in Pittsburgh? You'll never forget the last time you spoke with someone and because Bandize lets you add specific notes regarding exactly what the communication was about, you'll know exactly why you spoke to that person as well!

Task management

Know everything that needs to be done
As we all know, there are both big and little things that need to be done to successfully run a band. Sometimes the little things add up and you don't know where to start and sometimes the big things take up so much time that the little things get lost in the mix. Well, Bandize solves this problem but allowing you to delegate tasks to yourself and everyone else in the band.
What's late
Because nobody's perfect (and after-all, there's music to write), we allow you to set due dates for every single task you create. Was Frank supposed to have the new logo done before the 5th? You'll know and on top of that, you can set a reminder to email Frank to let him know as well.
Tasks on everything
Another great feature dealing with tasks is that everything on the site can have tasks associated with it. Did you just notice that you're running low on that killer t-shirt your fans love? While on that item's product page you can add a task that says, "We need to order more of these" and set a due date to make sure it gets done when you want it to get done.

Communication

Internal messaging
Since every member of your band will have their very own login to Bandize, it's easy to send messages to everyone (or even just to specific members). Also, you can set it up where you're automatically emailed at your personal email address every time you receive a message; and with the "subscribe" feature, you can be notified when anybody comments on any post. This way you're always aware of what's going on and you can even reply directly from your email and it gets logged in the Bandize system as if you were logged in!
Commenting
Have something to say about Howard's suggested tour route? Let him know by commenting directly on his message. This will let Howard and the rest of the recipients of the message know.
Upload files
"Hey guys, here's the new flyer I made for the upcoming show." Bandize makes it easy to share files and you can even associate these files with specific things such as shows or merchandise for easy reference.

Asset management

Better safe than sorry
The Bandize assets section allows you to log gear, personal items, van license plates and anything else you or your whole band owns or rents. You can enter the item's serial number, make, model, color, description, price, and upload several photos. After hearing several horror stories of band's getting their gear stolen on tour we decided this is not just a neat feature, but an unfortunate necessity.
Everything in one place
Let's imagine that the worst of the worst actually does happen and your van is broken into. Merch is gone, instruments are gone, and some personal belongings are gone. More than likely you'll be several hundred, if not thousands, of miles from home and I'm guessing you don't keep pictures of all of your gear in your wallet (though bravo if you do!). Good luck describing and even remembering exactly what was stolen to the police. What if you had everything at your fingertips? You'd have every single vital piece of information required to file an insurance claim and even to contact local pawn shops.
“Yeah, but what if my laptop gets stolen?”
Because Bandize is a web-based application, you can log into your account from any computer with an internet connection. You aren't required to install any software on ONE single computer. On top of that, we've designed a rather robust (yet still phone friendly) smartphone version of the software that you can access from anywhere with a cell signal. We even went one step further and allow you to select what items are coming with you on the road from your asset list and have them printed out on a hardcopy as part of your tour book.

Album management

Manage all of your releases
Upload cover art, track titles, label information, cost, retail price, where it's being sold, how much money you've made on it, and so much more!
Who said what about any album
Get a positive review in a magazine? Log it in Bandize and it'll automatically be associated with the record and store it for whenever you need a quote for a promo package or one-sheet.
